Default colour sum conditionally formatted cells

I have a spreadsheet with conditionally formatted cells. If the cell satisfies a certain criteria the interior colour of the cell is set to a specific colour.
The cells being formatted are arranged in an array.
I would like provide a summary at the bottom of the spreadsheet that sums the cells by colour code.
My VBA skills are at the beginner level so be gentle with me.
