Are you wanting one Username and password for everybody or are you wanting each individual user to have their own username and password?

If you are having one universal username and pass, then you can embed this into your movie and do a comparison. If every username and pass are unique then I look at using a flash with a database to store the information, and this will require some backside coding such as ASP, Cold Fusion, etc.

I have some code that I can upload for you a little later if you are using just the universal username and password.

what programming language are you using for universal username and password ?

It's ActionScript, all I did was create the login page in the first frame. On the second frame compared my information. Then if it matches take the user to whereever you want them to go, otherwise direct the user back to the login page.

I have uploaded the script at http://www.eclecticpixel.com/scripts, sorry I didn't get this at lunch but I accidentally trashed it at some point in time and had to redo it. On frame 1 you will need to go in and replace "YourUserName" and "YourPassword" with whatever you want.
