I'm using MX 2004 Professional.

I'm experimenting with forms. I've figured out how to pass the information gathered in a text box, using the text tool, selecting input text, and giving it a var name.

Now, why, when I choose a UI compenent such as datefield, it does not give me the option to assing a var name?

I'm kind of confused, I cant get FLASH to send an entry from a UI component to my PHP script. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but I'd appreciate anyones help.

Here according to var name you have to use Instance Name field for giving name.
