I got it figured out. The bunch of lines I got after I selected
Create Motion Tween was because I did not define an ending keyframe like you're suppoed to do. Then, you can drag the object to it's ending spot

If you chosse Shape Tween you have a symbol.
Shape tweens does not work with symbols, graphics, ets.
You have to break them apart first (Ctrl+B maybe twice), then shape tween.
If you want to change colour of your symbol then on the last key frame use the tint option.
