Default Flash animation is important for a website?

If you let to design a website, On what way you'll do it?

* a website that is good in visitors eyes with more Flash animation and images or a website with just full of text?
* how to make a SE friendly site?

I posted it here coz I want to design a site that is visitor friendly and of course search engine friendly....

any comment here...thanks....
