...I think it usually means Peer 2 Peer.
p2p networks are popular these days for file sharing.
p2p is also a term used if a computer is directly connected to another computer via a crossover cable.
so, in other words, it can mean many things ;)

Perhaps "anomaly" - however in the case of Wrox it means Programmer to Programmer.. .being that's the slogan for the company.
