Default Getting a response on Wrox

Greetings, folks,

I'm a newbie here at Wrox, but I have been participating in online tech forums for some time. I salute all you folks who have technical know-how and are willing to share it with others. My time hasn't allowed me to be much help on these forums to date, but I hope some day to be able to follow in your footsteps.

For now, my participation is as a user with questions. I posted a question to your Access forum under the title of Formulas using dates and percentages in Access 2010 back on the 6th of August. I haven't received any response to this post yet. I'm wondering if I violated some form of posting criteria or something to not get a response by now. I would greatly appreciate a response to this post and to the post mentioned above.

Again, thank you for your help. I'll be even more effusive in my praise and help when I get a reply.

Don: Sorry you haven't received an answer. The bottom line is that these are 99.99% volunteer forums and 99.99% of answers come from other readers or authors pitching in of their own free will. I'd love it if every question were answered but unfortunately they're not. There's nothing wrong with your question there just aren't enough people watching for someone with the answer to have seen it.

Thank you for your response, Jminatel! :-) I appreciate it. I understand the nature of the question/answer system on these forums, and just wanted to be sure that I hadn't violated some aspect of it here. I know all forums do seem to have their own personalities. I want to be a good Wrox citizen. :-)
