Default .Net File Saving Problem

I always get the following message while saving project or a file in Microsoft Development Environment

"This file has been modified outside of the source editor."
"Do you want to reload it?"

though I am the only user and my project is running on my local machine, nobody else can use it.

can anybody explain me why this happens.

Does this happen on a particular file or file type? I have had this happen on occassion. Usually it goes away or I just restart VS. It's unlikely that you would have a process that is modifying the file outside of VS but it's certainly possible. What could also be happening is that you have an antivirus program running that is checking that file. Some AV programs will mark the file as modified when they check it. This could be triggering VS to think it has been altered.
