Default error handling

I have an error in my project,
"String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated."
(when i am inserting something into database, but not conferm about this).

so what the cause,meaning,solution for this.

I had visit at that link,
they provide the solution by downloading of "sql70sp4",
I had do that,noe the error is
"sql server is not exists or access denied .
now what to do.

go to Administrative Tools>Services
be sure something like MSSQLSERVER has started.

Hi,

This error occurred becasue one or more vaues you are trying to insert to the table are lager than the field size. So check the values with field sizes.
