im looking for a broad classification as to where all these databases/servers come into application .. say like for multiple users / real time data .. etc.

also which of these would be ideal for an old winnt v4.00.1381 server
i know its pathetic but cant help it .. also does winnt support asp.net and other .net application services .. ?

if this post is not fit here .. pls move it to the appropriate section ...
