???? Why do you want me to point you to the article again? It's right there, at the top of this thread on page 1......

How many other links to articles did you find, posted by me, on the top of the first page of this thread?
Yes, that's the article I was referring to.
Cheers,
Imar

I am not quite sure what you want. You don't want to use a DataGrid, you don't want to use other data bound controls, and you also seem unwilling to read other people's posts. I think the link dotnetMe has posted shows you how to implement custom paging without the overhead of retrieving the entire dataset every time.
You started this thread about two weeks ago, indicating you required an urgent reply. Apparently, it wasn't that urgent. Now, what is it that you want? You want us to code a complete working, high performance best practice scalable cross database server solution for you? Forget it; that's not going to happen.
To make this work, you'll have to read, code, read more, test, code even more and ask a couple of questions on this forum to get help in areas you have troubles with.
I am not trying to be rude; I am just getting a little tired of this thread; you don't really want to follow other people's advice, or follow and read the links they post. It's unclear to me what you want and how you want it (except for the ready made code example), so maybe I should just step out of this thread.
Cheers,
Imar
