Default .NET Build problem

Hello,

i encountered the following problem: I installed Visual Studio .NET on my new Laptop. I used the same installation CDs that i have previously used on both Desktop PCs at home and at work and haven't had any problems. Now it installs and runs, but when i try to build something, the following error occurs:
'C:\Documents and Settings\Alexander Panov\My Documents\Visual Studio Projects\Try1\obj\Release\CSC131C.tmp' is not a valid Win32 resource file

It's my first time i have this problem and don't know what to do.

Any experience and ideas?

Alex
