Edit mode I do not see the ddlist datagrid

Why when I am not in edit mode I do not see the dropdownlist text in my datagrid?
I see the value of the dropdownlist. When I go into editmode it is fine.
What is wrong with my query,for the two dropdownlist? I am using Visual Studio.
