Default Windows Form

I'm receiving an error when I try to view my form in design mode. I'm not sure what happened, this is not a new form that worked fine until today.

The message is: Property accessor 'IsMdiContainer' on object 'System.Windows.Forms.Design.FormDocumentDesigner' threw the following exception:'Specified cast is not valid.'

Help please
