Default Shared / Public Assembly

What the diff between Private, Shared and Public Assembly ?

a private assembly is located in Bin directory of your application and other applications can't use it,just the same app can use it,

Shared assemblies are located in GAC somewhere all .NET applications can access and use them (i.e System.CF.Windows.Forms)

go [C:]:\[Windows Directory]\assembly

you will see assemblies installed in GAC,they are just for the public use.
