Default Class templates VS.Net 2002 vs. VS.NET 2003

Hello,
There does not appear to be a managed C++ application template in VS.NET 2003 but it is there in VS.NET 2002. Is the functionality gone or is here an equivalent means of creating a managed C++ application in VS.NET 2003?
Thank you,
Joe

Are you sure you installed the C++ parts of Visual Studio when you installed it? It's possible that C++ isn't on by default in the 2003 installation.

Peter, thank you for your reply. As an MSDN Professional subscriber I downloaded what I thought was the complete set of CD images from Microsoft, here are less templates in the C++ component. I now have the sipped media and could uninstall and then reinstall from the physical CD's. Would you suggest this?
Thank you,
Joe

Even if you "have it all" you might not have it all installed. You should be able to go to the Visual Studio setup (probably just insert the CD/DVD) and choose "Re-install" or "Install additional components..." or whatever the option is that looks like it will allow you to install more of it. You shouldn't need to uninstall the whole thing.

I have reinstalled the VS.NET 2003 Professional from the shipped media and it does not have managed C++ application as a project template. Joe
