Manipulating pop ups of 1 app from 2nd application

I am using VB .NET 2003. I have to interact with lotus notes through my application. The lotus notes throw some pop ups during execution and I want to manipulate these pop up for example I may require to click its OK button or Cancel button or I may require the text of the title bar of the pop up.

Is there a way to get these details of a pop up displayed by one application using some other application?
