Default WebDav + Database

I want to display specific data base records as XML files within a WebDav(webfolder) filesystem. I dont want the application to create the XML files using push methods. I would rather have the weddav display records directly from the database. I have heard about the Slide Framework for Java, however I dont have Java experience, etc.

Has anybody doen this before using .Net?, if yes how.

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by "within a WebDav(webfolder) filesystem". Also, what do you mean by "I dont want the application to create the XML files using push methods." Do you mean that you want to display data as XML without create files but by means of a virtual URL ("http://server/application/data/somedata.xml" where "somedata.xml" isn't a real file but just a means of referencing the data)?

Yes exactly. To answer your first question, these virtual files would be viewable using a webDAv client.
