Default File.Create C#

can anyone tell me what is the difference between File.Create and File.CreateText

File.Create essentially uses a generic stream. Anything that is written to it will be written to it "as is". With File.CreateText the underlying stream that is being used will convert everything to text using UTF-8 encoding when written to it.
