Default exe is not a valid win32 application

hello friends
please help me...
i have written some code in VB.NET using VS2003. but whenever i try to run application using exe in the bin folder, it gives an error "<filename>.exe is not a valid win32 application" then i have to build the code to make my exe working properly. once i build it is works properly but after some time say one or two days it starts giving same error on clicking exe file.
i m using crystal reports in my application.
plese help me
