Default loading asp.net project
Hi,
I am trying to load an asp.net project using a copy of the solution that was saved from a server that no longer exists. When I attempt to load the project, I get this error::
"The Web server reported the following error when attempting to create or open the Web project located at the following URL: 'http://calbbsx032/project123'. The server name or address could not be resolved'.
The server calbbsx032 does not exist anymore. I do have the copy of the project file though. As far as I know, I have all of the code that is needed. Is there some way around this so I could load the project?
I am using VB.net as the language and running in studio.net

Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 69461-335-0000007-18195

fixed. I discovered that you can edit the solution file with an ascii editor. The old server name was inside this file. I changed it to "localhost" and all is well.
