Default Datagrid in VB.net

how to set particular column witdh in datagrid using vb.net?
my code is

Dim Dt As New DataTable
Dim dr(4) As DataRow
for i = 1 To 3
dr(i) = Dt.NewRow

The above code create 3 new rows. but i entered the data the rows are created above 3 rows. how can i stop new row.

Pl. help
