When I try to download an exe file from my default.aspx page or any other page in my local computer which has Windows Vista OS installed. I get three options Run,Save and Cancel in the pop up window. I want to install this exe with only "Save" and "Cancel" buttons not "Run" button.I want hide or remove "Run" button while installation. how to do this programatically using asp.net? How to customize this in Vista - Internet Explorer?

thanks for advance...

You can't do this with ASP.NET

It's a server side language that emits client stuff like HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

As far as I know, you can't do this at all through other means like VB Script or Active X. Maybe you could write a browser plugin but even then.

For sure, you won't be able to use this in an internet scenario. Maybe, just maybe, it might work in an Intranet environment, but I don't think so.

Bottom line: you probably need to rethink your strategy. I, for sure, would never visit a web site again if it tried to pull these kind of tricks...
