Default Outlook plug-in addinexpress combobox issue.

I am developing outlook plug-in in .NET. I am using addinexpress and using its own drop down adxcommandbarcombobox. Unfortunately this does not seem to provide a 'click' event unlike a standard combo. It has 'OnAction' event but don't know how it will be used. Has anybody worked with adxcommandbarcombobox before?

Please help.

Hi

Usually OnAction will be associated with an Macro. Can you try creating an event subroutine and associating it to OnAction.

Cheers

Yes i believe so and i created and added about three event handlers like OnClick, OnceClick etc. (i don't remember their exact names here) which i found via the intellisence. I put a message box in the even handler but nothing happened. I mean the even handler was never triggered when i clicked.

Hi

Have you linked the Click procedure to the Combo

For example

Combo1.OnAction ="Combo1_Click"

Yes here's the declaration:

this.adxcommandbarcombobox1.OnAction+= new AddinExpress.MSO.ASXClick_EventHandler(this.adxcom mandbarcombobox1_Click)

I also tried this:

this.adxcommandbarcombobox1.OnAction+= new
AddinExpress.MSO.ASXClickOnceAction_EventHandler(t his.adxcommandbarcombobox1_ClickOnceAction)
