Default page have a flash file
hi all,
is there a way to put a flash cab file on a webserver instead of downloading these file from the macromedia site as all clients have no support for running flash files on an intranet environment not connected to the internet.

i tried to replace the codebase for the object to a path instead of macromedia site but not worked ????

flash player ( plug in / activeX ) on client is needed to see flash movies; i don't think server can do what you want here; though flash movies ( like audio/video ) can be streamed without downloading to client.

i think you miss what i need??
i need to prompt the user to download ocx for playing flash file from my webserver not to login to internet and download files from macromedia site
