Does anyone know a way for me to open my PC to allow other users to view my wwwroot, by going to http://<myip>/wwwroot for example.

Assuming you have are running Windows XP and running IIS then you need to allow anonymous access on the virtual directory using the IIS management tool and allow network traffic on port 80 through your firewall. It's obviously a security risk though, make sure no other folders are accessible.
