Default HTML Help file not loading

Hi all. I've created a CHM Help File for the system we developed in the company I work. By pressing F1 or a specific Help Button, the page in the CHM will be loaded accordingly.

The problem is: in Windows XP and Vista, the Help File will work perfectly loading correctly every time it's called from the system. But today we tested it in Windows 2000 and nothing happened, no file was loaded and no error messages came up.

I've tried to find a problem like mine in every forum in the internet but couldn't. The thing is, I CAN open the CHM file when clicking directly on it, even in Windows 2000, but not by calling it from our system forms. I've checked HHActiveX.DLL and HHCtrl.OCX and both have the latest version properly installed. I have administrator's rights and the system is called from local disk. Also, no special characters are included in the file path.

I would immensely appreciate if anyone could help me with this mistery that is driving me mad. Thanks in advance.

Default

Well, just to register, I found out what the problem was. Actually I forgot mentioning that I'm using Visual FoxPro 7, I didn't think it would make much of a difference, but it does actually. I needed to register foxhhelp7.exe and foxhhelpps7.dll to get it running.

If anyone else has a similar problem opening the help file from a Visual FoxPro 7 application, you could try this. I know this post would be better in the FoxPro forum, but as I mentioned, I had no idea it made difference.

Cheers.
