Default Suppressing/cleaning previous entries

Hi,

I have a textbox that is formed by the following code:
<input type="text" name="userid">

While I work with IE and start typing in the textbox, some previously entered values are popped up. It doesn't happen while I work with Netscape.

Could please advise as to how popping up the previous entries can be suppressed and/or the list of these entries can be cleaned up?

Thanks,
Lev

This is to reply to myself.

It turns out that in IE (at least in 5.5 and 6), suppressing/cleaning previous entries is done via Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete.
