Default XmlFormView

Hi all,
it is possible to use XmlFormView control in ASP.Net page to render an InfoPath form!!!

my question is about the ASP.Net page that contains XmlFormView Control, is it allowed to put this page out of SHAREPOINT - 80 Virtual Directory?? as i read about that, i found that it is a must! but I wanna get sure! anyone can help??
