Default I need help regarding J2ME (CLDC, MIDP, MIDLets) )

I am J2EE Developer and currently i switched over to J2ME and suppose to work on a project listed below:
Firstly, i have to configure a network between Web Server, Mobile Gateway and an end user PC where mobile simulation will be running for internet browsing.
Secondly, using J2ME tools i have to develop an application which will be running at end user PC from where end user can make an HTTP request that requested website should be available at mobile microbrowser after necessary conversion of HTML to WML.

So the basic theme of my project is am online conversion of WEB into WAP using J2ME tools. I consult your Wrox series books names as "Professional Java E-Commerce", and "Professional WAP" and learnt alot, but still need some basic tips to move forward. I come to know from internet that Mobile Gateway is not available for download, rather i can user the services of Gateway's freely by configuring it with my simulation. Please guide me and help me in this regards.

Best Regards

Abdul Quddos
