    I am doing a project on jasper reports using Java. I don't have any idea in generating a dynamic report format i.e. the fields that I select from the front end should be generated in the report. I don't know how to write the xml coding for generating a jasper file.Please some one help me.

Hello all experts.
I have a problem with export report from iReport 2.0.1 to excel.
When exporting number values like 12345.60. i want have value 12 346 in excel cell but if use pattern in properties of field then excel detect value as string.
my question is how to do it, can i include some macro in report or something? what i must do
