Default Jasper Reports

hello experts!
I am doing a project on jasper reports using Java. I don't have any idea in generating a dynamic report format i.e. the fields that I select from the front end should be generated in the report. I don't know how to write the xml coding for generating a jasper file. Please some one help me.

I think the JasperReports article on
may be helpful in this discussion.

This popular white paper is written by a software engineer from our organization Mindfire Solutions (http://www.mindfiresolutions.com).

I hope you find it useful!
