Default How to control a session

I'm using Java, struts, Filter and DB2. Now I'm controlling session through request processor. However I'm using frames, So session is not working, when ever the session is out. It's automatically going to login page. and login page it showing in the down frame. I would have configure the login page to main frame(the whole page) if I have a control. how can I control the session and how to send the request to our configured page(Instead of login page) when the session is out.
Please help me
