 i have using the book professional java server programming j2ee edition, now i am reading chapter 2(RMI).in pagr no 57-59 u give an example pgm.i don't know the steps for commpiling and running the pgm.please send the way of compile and run the pgm.and what are need for running the pgm(i know tomcat server).and send the settings of tomcat server

I don't have the book to hand, but I am pretty sure that you don't need Tomcat for this example, the class ClassFileServer provides the server functionality that is required.
