Default Java Code - Wrox - Beginning JAVA - Ivor Horton

Hi,

I am using the book Beginning Java by Ivor Horton's, 1997 edition by WROX. I am not able to find the code for the book on the website. I would really appreciate if somebody could provide me pointers for this.

Also I am get the following error for some of the programs that I run from the book:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError:
HelloWorld (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)

I would really appreicate if somebody could provide me some pointer for solving this problem.

Thanks in advance,

PK

Looks like you are running the code on older version of JDK it was compiled on. Or it might be vice versa too. Check what jdk was used to compile the code..
