Default JDBC connectivity error

Hi all,
First of all i want to create a servlet which will fetch only the database records & will display it.But i'm failing to do that.

First, i have create the database in the MS Access 2007 with two columns roll & sname with datatype number & text respectively. i saved it as Database2.accdb.

Then i've added the data source through Data Sources (ODBC) in Control Panel of that Database2.accdb. database by selecting the Microsoft Access Driver(*.mdb,*.accdb).

And i created html file and i opened it.But i'm getting error as

HTTP Status 500 - java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

type Status report

message java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

description The server encountered an internal error (java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified) that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache Tomcat/5.5.28

Hi Srinandini,

Please provide the code,or Exception stack.Without that, we can't comment on the Error you are getting.

For more reference on JDBC-Access 2007 Connectivity, OR DSN please refer the Link.

Default

write click on the page in which you have coded the ODBC connection
and then right click and select the option data source and than add the name you added while creating connection in the control panel connections
add the data source name not the database name
