Default recording live streams using java

hi friends,
   i am working on a learning project to record live streams (.wmf .asx .ram .rm .nsv) video and audio files using java. any one having code samples will be thank full.

Rather than request code samples, have a look at sun's Java site. They have plenty of examples of stream handling. As for writing these to a file, read into buffered input streams.
