Default Write a program to produce a contents page

Please help me to write a program to produce a contents page for a book using a data supplied in fiexed format. The data should be read off a file and the output sent to a printer. The output should be:

CONTENTS
1. First steps
 1.1 The Computer 5
 1.2 Problem Solving
  1.2.1 Definition 10
2. Types and Looping
 2.1 Types
  2.1.1 Integer 30
