Default How to use Ms-Excel document in java

Hi to everybody!

     I want use Ms-Excel in java application may be applet
or Frame window. How to use it.

What do you mean by use it?
If you want to display it, you can put a link into your html the way you would for any other file, thought this would require the user to have exel on their machine. If you want to manipulate the data programatically, I am not sure if you can. You would normally use VBA for this.

hmm.. well i have never tried it but you can try it by using a GridBagLayout manager.

Hi,
Well for all the gall and wormwood between between MS and Sun you can fortunately access MS Sheets through Java. This is pretty easy. It requires you to create a system dsn in the ODBC Admininstrator console and use the normal Java database connectivity like statements.

Hi,

You can also look up the JCOM interface. It lets you access the Excel.Application COM interface. Through it you can automate Excel pretty much the same way you'd do using macros.
