Default Javascript Test

One of my colleagues is writing a test for end users to take training them on our company's Windows software. Our software is a Windows client that interfaces with a SCO Unix backend server. Our developers are writing a .vbs file that contains functions that will post information from the tests, such as scores, bookmarks, etc. to the SCO server. I have been given the task to interface the javascript test with the .vbs file. How do I go about doing that? Is it simply a matter of declaring the external .vbs file in the head section then referencing the functions in the individual objects? Can someone give me some help please?
