Default "Alert " to remind user to close the window?

I have a child page that my users can click, and this child page also has a close button. However, sometimes the users forget to close the child page before they move on. What happens, is the child page just stays open but drops to the bar at the bottom of the browser.

I would like to have an "Alert" message pop up if they move on and forget to close the child window first.

Any help coding this would be appreciated.

Rudy

Add an onblur to the <body> of the child window:

<body onblur='alert("Close me!!")'>

Or you could close it yourself:

<body onblur='window.close();'>

HTH,
