Default refresh()

function refresh()
{
    window.location.reload(false);
}

then:

<body bgcolor="#F5F5F5" onLoad="refresh()">

does this refresh the page when it is initally loaded?

Yep, but as you are reloading the same page, it will refresh constantly. Probably not what you want :).

Cheers,

I think you mean window.location.reload(), but again, if you reload the same page, it will keep reloading every time the page loads & again you're back in an eternal loop.
