Default Controlling Print with Javascript

Hi Everyone,

I have an asp page which contains a form which i want to print. i am presently using the javascript print() function. But I am not able to set the header & footer to blank as I don't want the url & page no. etc to be printed alongwith.

Is there any way that I can set these parameters to blank from Javascript?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Default

Not without a client-side ActiveX solution, at least in IE. ScriptX from Meadroid.com for instance. Another option, again IE only, are print templates. As before users will have to allow ActiveX.

These solutions are really only viable on an intranet where you know the browser and can control security settings.
