Default passing empty parameters to a js function

Code:
function build_minmax(ctcid,the_class,min_stay,max_stay,noofcts,iMinMaxStored,bNoMinMaxLoaded)
....

build_minmax('','','','','','','NoMinMaxStayLoaded');
is there a more friendly way to do this code above, i dont always want to pass all parameters to the function like the line above.

:D
