Default Channel Mode and Window focus

Hi all,

I have a window in full screen channel mode (browsers will be ie5.5 - ie6), with a menu that opens some of its links in small pop up windows. Its an intranet site so pop up blockers are not an issue. Now I've noticed that sometimes when I open a menu item the window.focus() method contained in the onload event in the new windows does nothin and the windows open behind the channel moded window. Any suggestions?

TIA
Joe
