Default Nested Frames problem in Netscape 7

I have a frameset like this

<frameset cols="20%,*" id="frameset1">
<frame src="page1.htm">
<frameset rows="99%,* id="frameset2">
<frame src="page2.htm">
<frame src="page3.htm">
</frameset>
</frameset>

In the page1.htm, i have a link. On click of that link, i want to access the id - frameset2 and change the rows from '99%,*' to '50%,*'.

In the page1.htm, i tried to access the frameset1 like this..
parent.document.getElementById(frameset1).rows='50 %,*';

It works good in Netscape 8, Firefox 1.0 and IE.

But when i checked it in Netscape 7, it is not working. I dont the see rows changed in the dimensions.

I appreciate your help in this regard.

Thanks in advance.
