Default Java Script

Hi All,
 In Asp.net drop down control when i selecting the text from the drop list the text width is longer than the control width. It is possible to give the tooltip on that selection time. I had achived after selected the text. But can't do the onselection time. If it possible plz send me the code or any suggesstion.
