hello all,
I'd like to implement a really cool effect that I've seen on a few webpages and I'm sure you've all seen as well...but I'm not too sure if it's Javascript, DHTML, or something else. What I'm trying to achieve is the picture/link/etc. that moves along the page as you scroll down through the page. For example, it'd be like having the Wrox logo stay at the top-left of my browser, even if I scrolled down to the bottom of the page (this obviously isn't implemented here).
After a quick search, I found a site that has this effect, but I couldn't figure out the name of the effect or decipher how they did it from the page source. The link to this site is:
http://www.milonic.com/mfa/2004-Janu...questions.html
The above link has the entire menu move along with you as you scroll through the page. I'm not looking for anything this complicated. I'd just like a simple hyperlink to stay at the top-right of the screen.
Does anyone know how to do this or know where I can find a tutorial? Even the name of this effect would help!
Thanks in advance!
Panuvin
