Javascript Preloader

Hi ,
I need to create a pre-loading timer in a pop-up which runs until the main window is loaded with a page.

1. Trigger a popup-Window2 with timer
2. Load Window1 with http://p2p.wrox.com
3. After successful loading of the complete website in Window1, close Window 2

this is my requirement in a crux.
Can anybody help here....??? Thanks in advance
