am sorry if i am asking in wrong forum, am new to javascript and have to implement a functionality in my webpage that is Multiple selection

actually i am making online exam system, when i have to provide a highlight tool for student, so that he can highlight multiple important words with mouse drag.

but dont know how and where to find reference for the same, and how to implement it.


any kind of help is appreciable
