Default Date

Hi all,

Does anyone know to validate the date. I mean I want the user to be able to put the date in a form, but i want to make sure that the date that they put into the form is not less than today's date.

Does anyone know how to validate this?

Thanks,

joanncae.

try this :

function validate_date()
{
     var time = new date();
     if (document.forms[0].text1.value < time.getHours())
     {
          alert("//your statement here");
     }
}
The obj.getHours or other obj.datemethod() always return back integer valur that you can compare to any input that user have given.
